Where it started

Hashlands began as a game about Bitcoin mining and the amount of electricity that habit quietly consumes. That question got larger. The frontier now covers the whole mining mystique — crypto, rare earth, precious metal — and the newest and hungriest miner on the map is a hyperscale compute corridor that produces nothing you can hold and outbids everyone for power.

What kind of game

Resource management with a siege at the end of every round. Build an extraction line during the calm, split one power allocation between metal, compute and defence, then find out at dawn whether you chose correctly. Roughly twenty-five minutes a shift.

What exists today

Six territories, three factions, seven material dossiers and three field journals — the world bible, written out. Six pre-production frames: original concept paintings for mood and scale, and hand-authored vector blockouts for massing and the building grid. The shift loop is designed on paper.

What does not exist

There is no playable build, no trailer, no announced platform, no release window, no price, no store page and no pre-order. Nothing on this site is a screenshot. There are no tokens, wallets, purchases, real assets or financial products of any kind, and there never will be — the metals in Hashlands are a game economy and nothing else.

The art

The landscape frames are original concept illustrations made for this project and labelled as concept art wherever they appear. The world map, the blockout frames and the loop diagram are hand-authored SVG. No stock photography is used and no real person is depicted.

Your details

The only thing this site collects is the address you type into the notify form, plus which platform you are curious about. It is stored so it can be used once — to tell you there is something to play. It is not readable by anyone visiting the site, it is not sold, and there are no advertising trackers anywhere on these pages.
